If you need high-level feedback, accountability check-ins, or a writing practice overhaul, you might need BOOK COACHING

If you need fine-grained feedback about language, argument, and/or structure you might need DEVELOPMENTAL EDITING

  • An initial session to discuss your process, project, and our goals for working together. We’ll begin to map out a plan and set expectations.

  • You need an infusion of perspective and a plan of action, but you don’t need weekly or bi-weekly support. The coaching BOOST includes:

    • orientation session

    • 3 additional one-hour sessions

    • notes on book proposal or additional one-hour session

    • strategic writing plan

  • You need perspective, a plan of action and weekly or bi-weekly support to get you to the finish line. The coaching RITUAL includes:

    • orientation session

    • 8 additional one-hour sessions

    • summaries of reading notes on book manuscript before each session (max 75,000 words including notes)

    • strategic writing plan + revised strategic writing plan in final session

  • You need an infusion of perspective and a plan of action. The BLUEPRINT includes:

    • orientation session

    • 2 additional one-hour sessions

    • structural notes on book manuscript as a whole (max 75,000 words including notes)

  • You need an infusion of perspective while you carry out a plan of action. The CONSTRUCTION includes:

    • orientation session

    • plan of action

    • up to eight additional one-hour sessions

    • in-depth notes on each chapter of book manuscript (max 75,000 words including notes)

    • revised plan of action at final session

  • It is always possible to book additional coaching/editing sessions according to how your project and our process develops.

No two projects are the same. We plan a mid-point check-in to adjust any aspect of the process.

A plan of action that includes an overview of work and a reliable timeline for getting it done.
